Fred is the founder of Advantec Engineering and principal investigator. Fred provides expert consultation and litigation support regarding materials failure analysis, forensic investigation, corrosion, and structural analysis.

Fred has a Master of Science in Metallurgy and a Bachelor of Nuclear Engineering, both from Georgia Institute of Technology. Fred also has the equivalent of a Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering from the US Navy / Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory Reactor Engineering School. He has more than thirty five years of professional engineering experience and is a registered professional engineer in Connecticut and Virginia.
